Nau mai, haere mai ki te Hui Whakakapi Tau o Ngā Poutama Matawhenua!

A time to celebrate your achievements and learn from others in the Ngā Poutama Matawhenua community.

Join us on Friday, 6 December 2024, 12:30-1:30 PM, where participants can share their GIS and mapping achievements from the past year. This is a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge, learn from others, and celebrate the use of geospatial tools and technologies for kaupapa Māori applications.

This session will not be recorded, allowing for open kōrero and sharing of innovative mahi.

As always we’ll provide answers to any and all geospatial mapping pātai you may have, and seek your thoughts on what you’d like to see covered next year.

Ngā hua mōu (What’s in it for you?)

Attendees who share something can win tino rawe prizes, including:

  • Five annual personal subscriptions to Esri ArcGIS, courtesy of Esri’s Annual GIS Day, each worth $100 USD.
  • Te Ika-a-Māui and Te Waipounamu tangata whenua place names maps, published by Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa New Zealand Geographic Board (2 laminated sets of these amazing maps couriered to your door 😊).

Whakawhiti kōrero (What to share)

This hui is all about you. Whether it’s a project you’re proud of, a challenge you overcame, or a skill you’ve developed, we want to hear it, No matter how big or small, and whether you’ve started or not!

Rēhita inaianei (Register now)

We look forward to seeing how far you’ve come and what you’ve learned in 2024. Kia kaha, kia māia, kia manawanui!
